Traditionally, social norms placed women in the home, caring for children while men worked. Today, women are encouraged to pursue careers and passions beyond motherhood, but this can create a real juggling act.

We see a goal or a vision in sight, we know what it will look like, how it should work, and the results it will yield. Yet for many reasons it’s just not the right time to execute this vision. Maybe your current job doesn’t leave you enough time to work on anything new, maybe family life is the priority right now, or perhaps you don’t yet have the resources and/or skills to pull it off yet. So what do we do when we’re found in this place of tension?

We have to start with what’s achievable before we achieve the unbelievable.

It’s not enough for the goal to just be a “good idea”. It needs to have larger implications for our belief systems to attach to in order to succeed.
